Aged To Perfection

1,500 Year Old Brew Tells the Tale.

So, how did the Danish and Irish come to develop world-class beers?

Our tale starts around 550AD when Sven of Denmark headed out to invade Dublin, Ireland. During the invasion Sven met St. Patrick and, enamored with Christianity, converted to Catholicism. Sven, who was later canonized, was so grateful to St. Patrick for introducing him to Christianity that he asked his brewmeister to develop beers to celebrate his conversion.

These same beer recipes have been passed on for 1500 years and kept safe by the Jensen clan, direct decedents of St. Sven. McCaffery's Irish cream ale is one of these recipes. So Drink Responsibly, have fun, really "taste" this unique beer, and make a toast to St. Patrick and St. Sven. Cheers!
